Warranwood Kitchen

This 1990s project home was ready for a kitchen upgrade, with an outdated layout that no longer supported the flow or functionality the owners needed. While the clients had a clear affinity for a soft, Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic, they were unsure how to translate that look into a home with typical 1990s architecture.

The kitchen layout only required minor changes to improve flow and usability, while keeping key services in place for efficiency. Outdated slate floors were replaced with warm, blackbutt timber flooring to brighten the space and add visual warmth. Custom timber cabinetry was designed to complement existing window frames and detailing, creating a cohesive, contemporary finish that feels both fresh and grounded in the home’s original character.

This renovation delivers a modern, light-filled kitchen that balances Scandinavian simplicity with the warmth and practicality suited to everyday family living.
